BizInsured.ai ("BizInsured," "we," "us") provides commercial insurance education, carrier recommendation tools, and agent matching services for small business owners. We are not an insurance company and do not sell, bind, or issue insurance policies.
We collect information in two contexts:
Through AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude): When you use BizInsured through a conversational AI tool, we receive business-level information you provide during the conversation, such as business type, location (state/zip), revenue, employee count, and desired coverages. We do NOT collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or financial account numbers through AI conversations.
Through our website (bizinsured.ai): If you choose to connect with an agent, we collect your name, email address, and phone number through our contact form. This information is collected on our own servers and governed by this policy.
We share your contact information and business details with the matched insurance agent for the sole purpose of obtaining insurance quotes on your behalf. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Business profile data used for recommendations is retained for analytics and service improvement. Contact information is retained for the duration of the agent referral relationship. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
Conversations conducted through ChatGPT or Claude are subject to those platforms' respective privacy policies. BizInsured does not store the full text of AI conversations. We receive only the structured data passed to our recommendation tools.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure data storage.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting [email protected]. We will respond to requests within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
